Barbara is an accomplished Human Resources executive and consultant working across multiple industries including financial services, biotech, research, manufacturing & distribution.
Beginning her career in the Bank of Boston’s Human Resource Management program, Barbara spent time as a specialist in all areas of HR, including employee relations, training and development, compensation, benefits and recruitment. She later went on to lead the global HR function of Brown Brothers Harriman; working with the Partnership to align the human assets with the strategic business goals of the firm.
Her history of increasing responsibilities is a testament to her ability to recognize opportunities and get things done. Since moving to Texas, Barbara has applied her HR expertise to a variety of businesses, from start-ups to national, multi-site organizations.
Barbara holds a bachelor’s degree from Regis College, and attended the Boston College graduate business program. In addition, she attended the Boston University Executive Management program.
Barbara also has her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certificate from the HRCI and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
When not working or spending time with her family, Barbara is actively involved in her community, having chaired the Southlake Women’s Club’s Art in the Square festival on three occasions.
